WHAT IS CRURAL LIFTING?
The crural lifting intervention is indicated for the aesthetic improvement of the inner thighs.
WHEN IS IT SUITABLE TO PERFORM A LIFTING CRURAL?
It is convenient to perform this type of surgery, when there is accumulation of fat, flaccidity, and treatment with liposuction is not enough.
WHERE ARE THE INCISIONS MADE?
The incisions are located in the groin area, on the edge of the pubis, and therefore will be hidden by underwear or bikini.
HOW A CRURAL LIFTING IS MADE?
Initially liposuction is performed to remove the fatty tissue, and then the extent of sagging skin is evaluated to proceed to resection.
The intervention lasts approximately between 2 and 3 hours, and does not require the use of drainages or pressotherapy girdles.
The patient will be hospitalized for one day.
In the event of morbid obesity sequels, in which excess skin is very noticeable, we will proceed with a longitudinal resection, similar to brachioplasty, in addition to an inguinal resection along the inner thigh, as the first will not be sufficient.
